A number of the methods and software tools have been produced to archive an endangered Languages corpus; for instance, SIL International has developed a series of digital audio and video recording software for data management and analysis, such lexicon editor as Toolbox, WeSay, Lexique Pro. In addition, ELAN can be used for creating complex textual annotations to multimedia (i.e. video and audio) resources, Audacity for segmenting audio recordings, and Praat for analyzing phonetics and speech. These tools are also widely used as annotation applications for digitalizing data to become an audio documentation archive.
